LANCERS ACQUIRE F SAMUELS-THOMAS IN TRADE WITH LINCOLN

RALSTON, Neb. – The Omaha Lancers of the United States Hockey League (USHL) are pleased to announce they have acquired veteran forward Trent Samuels-Thomas in a trade with the Lincoln Stars. A native of West Hartford, Connecticut, Samuels-Thomas registered four assists in 10 games with the Stars.
A 6’1”, 178-pound forward, Samuels-Thomas began the season with the Des Moines Buccaneers where he tallied three assists in eight games before being dealt to Lincoln on October 24th. Last season, Samuels-Thomas recorded 15 goals, 17 assists and 32 points in 58 games in Des Moines.
Samuels-Thomas will wear jersey number 28 for the Lancers and will be available when the team heads to Lincoln tomorrow to face off against the Stars.
Omaha (13-11-0, 26 pts.) has won nine of its last 11 games overall and returns to action this Friday when the team travels to Lincoln for a rematch with the Stars. Catch all of Friday’s action on 1290 AM KOIL locally in Omaha beginning with the Valpak.com pregame show at 6:50 PM.
