The Omaha Lancers have announced Luc Robitaille as Lancers Team President. Robitaille, the highest scoring left wing in NHL history and future member of the NHL Hockey Hall of Fame, announced his retirement back in April after 19 successful years in the NHL.
“I’ve been around hockey my whole life and now that the opportunity is here I will become more involved with the Lancers. I’m excited to have more time with the players, staff and supporters on a more personal level. The Commitment to Excellence has always been a part of this organization, but with the help of fellow owner Mike Hastings, I want to take this team to the next level.”
He will conduct scheduled radio interviews on Friday.
