Lancers Send Joyaux to Youngstown

Omaha Gets 6th, and 8th Round Picks In Exchange for Veteran Defenseman

 

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Ralston, NE – Omaha traded defenseman Mike Joyaux to the Youngstown Phantoms in exchange for a pair of draft picks the team announced on Tuesday morning.

Joyaux, a ’97 birth year, appeared in 113 games for the Lancers over the last two seasons. Originally acquired from Chicago in October of 2015, the defenseman netted 35 points (9g, 26a).  Uncommitted the 2017-18 season will be Joyaux’s fourth in the league. Overall the defenseman has appeared in 179 games while recording 56 points (12g, 44a).

In exchange for the veteran the Lancers acquired a 6th and an 8th round pick in Phase Two of the USHL Draft.

Phase Two of the USHL draft continues on Tuesday morning.
