Lancers Trade Pettersen to Muskegon

Omaha Acquires Trio of Picks for Norwegian Forward.

 

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Ralston, NE – The Omaha Lancers traded forward Emilio Pettersen to the Muskegon Lumberjacks in exchange for a trio of draft picks on Tuesday morning.

Pettersen, 17, appeared in 57 games in his rookie campaign scoring 27 points. The Norwegian forward tendered with the Lancers prior to the 2016-17 season. Before joining the Lancers Pettersen spent three seasons playing for South Kent Selects Academy U16. The forward is committed to attend the University of Denver.

In exchange for Pettersen the Lancers acquired a first and seventh round pick in the 2018 Phase II draft as well as a second-round pick in the 2019 Phase II draft.

Lancers Tryout Camp begins on Friday, June 2 and runs through Sunday, June 4. All sessions are at Ralston Arena and open to fans at no cost. A full schedule of the weekend will be available later this week.
