Furry Commits to Niagara
Forward Makes Commitment Ahead of First Junior Season

Ralston, NE –Forward Brendan Furry has committed to Niagara University he announced on Twitter Thursday night.
Furry, 19, appeared in 32 games for Belle Tire U18 last season recording 28 points (10g, 18a). The forward will play for former Dubuque head coach Jason Lammers at Niagra.
"I have complete trust in Coach Lammers and his staff to develop me not only as a player, but to help me grow as a young man," said Furry. "The dedication of these coaches excites me to work to my full potential and to continue to work hard on furthering my hockey career."
The 5'11, 185lb forward heads into his first full year of junior hockey after appearing in seven games with the Amarillo Bulls (NAHL).
"Committing is a proud feeling," stated Furry. "I will take my experience in Juniors to develop into a stronger and better player. I will work hard to show that my commitment is deserved and that I am dedicated to continuing to improve myself both mentally and physically as a person and a hockey player."
The season will open on October 6 at home against Tri-City. Preseason dates and opponents will be announced later this month.
