Camp Overview

The Omaha Lancers of the United States Hockey League (“USHL”) is excited to host our 2018 Lancers Goaltender Development Camp. THIS CAMP IS INVITATION ONLY.  Players who have been invited to attend should click below to register.

When: July 24-26, 2018

CAMP INCLUDES

Elite Goaltender Development Camp:

  • 16 Hours - On-Ice Instruction
  • 3 Hours - Off-Ice Training
  • 2 Hours - Video Teaching

Limited to 20 Goalies - Lunch Provided all 3 days - 4 Goaltenders will advance through the goalie Camp to participate in our July 29-31 Lancers Player Development Camp

CAMP DESCRIPTION

Camp Overview

The Omaha Lancers, a proud member of the United States Hockey League (USHL), invite you to our 2018 Lancers Goaltender Development Camp.  The camp is INVITE ONLY for goaltenders born in 1998-2004 birth years. Players will spend approximately ten and a half hours on the ice over the two day camp. Upon the conclusion, TWO goaltenders will receive an invite to attend the Lancers Fall Development Camp. Each player will receive a full evaluation and exit meeting with the coaching staff at the end of the camp. Personalized jersey are included in registration cost. 

Please report to the Ralston Arena on Tuesday, July 24th. A full camp itinerary will be provided upon registration. 

Please be advised that we intend to close the online registration once all the allotted spots are filled with completed registrations. We encourage you to register promptly.

 

USHL Overview

The USHL is the only Tier 1 junior hockey league in the United States and it is the fastest growing producer of NHL hopefuls. The USHL can provide you with a unique opportunity to work toward your NHL dream while maintaining your college eligibility:

               USHL Players in the NCAA:

  • Over 95% of players in the USHL earn Division I college hockey opportunities;
  • 92% of college hockey players graduate from their respective college/university;
  • Over 50% of the captains in Division I hockey are USHL alums;
  • Over 40% of the players in the Ivy League played in the USHL;
  • 6 of the last 7 Hobey Baker Award winners are USHL graduates.

               USHL Players in the NHL:

  • A USHL alum has won the Stanley Cup for twelve consecutive seasons;
  • 45 USHL alumni competed in the Stanley Cup Playoffs last year;
  • In each of the last 5 years, over 30 USHL players were drafted by the NHL including 48 players in the most recent 2017 NHL draft… more than any junior hockey league in North America.

 

Omaha Lancers Overview

Throughout both collegiate and professional levels of hockey, the Omaha Lancers are considered to be the flagship organization of the United States Hockey League, and among the premier Tier 1 juniors programs in all of North America.  The Omaha Lancers take great pride in its winning tradition and history of player development:

  • The Omaha Lancers have won 14 championships in its 32-year history;
  • Over 300 Lancers have gone on to play collegiate hockey, and 31 Lancers have gone on to the NHL, including current head coach David Wilkie.

REGISTRATION INFORMATION

  • Please note that there are several online forms that need to be completed before we can confirm your admittance to the camp. Please also note that you will be required to submit payment online with a credit card when registering.  Lastly, please note that you will need your 2018/19 USA Hockey registration number to complete the online application form. 
  • Once your registration is complete, we will send you a confirmation email securing your position in the camp.

Insurance Note

Please be advised that the Omaha Lancers do not accept any responsibility for injuries or any other liability that may arise at this camp. Please also bring a copy of your medical and dental insurance cards with you.

Equipment Note

All players must provide their own equipment, tape, and sticks.  Camp jerseys will be provided at check-in.
