Storm Shock Lancers, 8-1

KEARNEY, NE - The Omaha Lancers were taken down by the Tri-City Storm on Saturday night by a final score of 8-1.

In the second period, the first goal of the game was scored by Cole Kodsi (7:05) to get the Lancers ahead 1-0. The Storm answered back with 5 goals, including 3 power-play goals to close out the second period to get a 5-1 lead. The Storm outshot the Lancers 44-10 after the period.

In the third period, the Storm would put three more goals past Jon Mor to win 8-1.

The Lancers are now 23-22-4-4 with 52 points.

The Lancers return to the ice on Friday, March 22nd to face off against the Sioux City Musketeers at Ralston Arena. Puck drop is at 7:35 pm. Listen live all season long on the Lancers flagship station The Mighty KOIL News Talk 1290 AM radio or view the game via HockeyTV.com.
