RALSTON, NE - The Omaha Lancers have acquired defenseman, Hunter Carrick.

Carrick, a 2000 birth year defender, spent last season split three ways with the Lincoln Stars, Islanders Hockey Club (NCDC) and the Chicago Steel. The Orland Park, IL native combined for 26 USHL games and recorded 2 assists on the season.

“We are excited to add Hunter Carrick back into our team,” Head Coach and General Manager David Wilkie said. “Hunter is a smart, puck-moving defender who is also an effective power play defenseman.”

Prior to his time with other USHL teams, Carrick came to Omaha in the 2017-18 season where he played 35 games as a Lancer. As a Lancer, the defenseman combined for 11 points (3 Goals and 8 Assists). Carrick was then traded to the Muskegon Lumberjacks where he finished out the 2017-18 season playing in 14 games.

“He did a really good job his first time around with us and was productive. I expect no different from him this time here in a Lancers jersey.”

Carrick is committed to Penn State University.
