RALSTON, NE - The Omaha Lancers announced late Wednesday changes to the 2019-2020 roster with the addition of Gabe Temple from the Dubuque Fighting Saints and the trading of Jon Mor.
The Lancers received Gabe Temple, a Forward from Dubuque in exchange for a 2020 Phase II 4th round draft pick. The Fowlerville, MI native was drafted 86th overall by the Fighting Saints in 2019 USHL Entry Draft. Prior to entering the USHL this season, Temple spent the past two years with the Wilks-Barre/Scranton Knights of the North American Hockey League (NAHL). In those two seasons, the forward played in 116 games and record 50 points (23-27-50). Temple is a product of Little Caesars Bantam Minor AAA, Honeybaked U16, and Victory Honda U16. The forward was also selected to play in the NAHL Selects in the Sirius Ice Hockey World Cup last month in Sochi, Russia. Templed played in 4 games and earned 2 assists in the tournament.
The Lancers have also traded goaltender Jon Mor to the Minnesota Wilderness for future considerations.
