RALSTON, NE - The Omaha Lancers (15-10-5-0) take on the USHL’s top-ranked squad Chicago Steel on for a weekend series at Fox Valley Arena Friday and Saturday.
The Lancers are off of a win on Saturday, winning 1-0 against the Fargo Force at Ralston Arena and are 6-3-1-0 in their past ten games played. The Lancers sit at 4th place in the USHL Western Conference with 35 points.
This weekend will be the first meeting between these two teams this season. Last year, Omaha and Chicago met up twice where the Steel won both games; Dec 8th at Fox Valley (2-1) and Feb 24th at Ralston Arena (2-1).
The Steel comes into the weekend set with a 24-4-1-0 record and sits atop of the USHL with 49 points. They won both of their games last weekend against the Dubuque Fighting Saints.
Puck drop for both games is set for 7:05 PM. The action on Friday will be broadcasted only on HockeyTV and Saturday’s game will be broadcasted on both HockeyTV and KOIL 1290 AM Radio.

Owen Power leads the blue line in scoring for Chicago (8-22-30).
6 of the USHL’s top 20 scorers belong to Chicago.
