WEEKEND PREVIEW: THREE-IN-THREE PART: III

LANCERS AT TRI-CITY, HOST LINCOLN

RALSTON, NE - The Omaha Lancers (23-12-6-1) will battle both in-state rivals; Tri-City Storm and Lincoln Stars in a three-in-three weekend. 

The Lancers will head West to Kearney to battle the Tri-City storm on both Friday and Saturday. The Lancers and Storm have seen each other five times prior to the weekend set. The Lancers are 2-2-1-0 this season against the Storm. The last time the two teams met it was Tri-City to take a 5-2 win in Kearney. Puck drop for both Friday and Saturday is set for 7:05 PM. All of the action will be broadcasted on KOIL 1290 AM and on HockeyTV. 

The Lancers will head back home for a Sunday matinee against the Lincoln Stars for Pink in the Rink night. The Lancers and Stars will be meeting up for the seventh time this season. Omaha has been nearly perfect against Lincoln this year with a 5-1-0-0 record. In the previous meetup, the Lancers swept the Stars in a weekend series winning 5-4 in Lincoln on Feb. 7 and then 6-1 at home on Feb. 8. Puck drop for Sunday’s game is scheduled for 4:05 PM. Sunday’s action will also be broadcasted on KOIL 1290 AM and HockeyTV.

Lincoln Stars (20-16-3-2) 45 Points - 5th Place Western Conference

  • Travis Treloar leads the Stars in points with 42

  • Jordan Power is the top point-producing defender with 23 points

    • Jacob Mucitelli: 3.30 GAA | .877 SV%

    • Connor Androlewicz: 4.02 GAA | .858 SV%
