RALSTON, NE - The Omaha Lancers (8-5-0-0) will play host to two Western Conference teams in three games this weekend.
The Lancers will start off the three-game weekend with a New Year's Eve trip to Sioux City on Thursday, December 31st. The Lancers have the better of the season-long series, going 2-0 against the Musketeers. Omaha will return home for a day then head back to Sioux City on Saturday, January 2nd for another game against the Musketeers. Puck drop for both games is set for 7:05 PM.
On Sunday, January 3rd the Lancers will return to Des Moines to face the Buccaneers. They saw each other two times last weekend where both teams split in wins. Omaha took a 4-1 win on Saturday, December 26th at Ralston Arena, then Des Moines won on Sunday, December 27th by a final 2-0 at Wells Fargo Arena. Omaha and Des Moines are both 2-2 against each other this season. Des Moines will host Waterloo at home on Wednesday, December 30th prior to facing Omaha. Des Moines will play three games before they face the Lancers this weekend, two of those games will be on the road. Puck drop on Sunday from Des Moines is set for 4:00 PM.
