RALSTON, NE - The Omaha Lancers were defeated by a final score of 3-1 on Saturday night against the Fargo Force.

In the first period, the Force got ahead of the Lancers when Cody Monds (10:32) scored, shooting the puck from the right circle. Minutes later Aaron Huglen (12:48) added to the score for a 2-0 lead going into the first intermission.

In the second frame, Michael Cameron (8:34) shed some light on the game for Omaha scoring his 3rd goal of the year. The play started on the left point where Ryan Conroy kept the puck in the Lancers attacking zone. From there, Conroy passed the puck to Garret Wright who quickly got it to Cameron for a backdoor score on Boynton. The Force scored again in the period when Michael Crasa (18:06) netted what would be the game-winning goal. In a game that was completely free of penalties, the Lancers outshot the Force 27-16. The Lancers are now 9-8 on the season sitting at 3rd place in the West with 18 points.
