Lancers Add New Head Scout To Their Hockey Staff.

RALSTON, NE – The Omaha Lancers announce that Noel Rubin joins the Lancers as Head Scout. Noel brings to the Lancers his vast experience in both Midget Hockey and the United States Hockey League.

“Noel's tireless work ethic and keen eye for talent has served his organizations well for decades,” said Mike Picozzi, Majority Owner of the Lancers. “Those attributes were translated to Noel producing top ranked teams and we are excited for that result to continue with the Omaha Lancers."

Noel currently serves as the Director of Midget Hockey for the New Jersey Rockets, where his teams have qualified for USA Nationals in each of the last three years. During that time Noel has also served as Eastern District Scout for the Cedar Rapids Roughriders and the Muskegon Lumberjacks of the USHL. Noel began his coaching career with the New Jersey Colonials where he was the Director of Hockey from 2003-2018, won three Silver Sticks Championships and a National Championship in 2011.

“I am excited to work with the Omaha Lancers and help bring high quality players and people to this incredible franchise,” said Noel Rubin, “Mike’s decision to bring in GM and Head Coach Rob Rassey with his impressive wealth of experience will be instrumental in setting the direction for the organization and continuing the success of this storied franchise.”
