OMAHA, NE. - The Omaha Lancers of the United States Hockey League are proud to announce their new ownership group, lead by Mike Picozzi, Donato (Danny) Ardellini and Jamie Storr.
The new group will focus on putting a winning team on the ice and bring the Lancers closer to the Lancer Community.
Ardellini is an entrepreneur who is the Founder and CEO of Environmental 360 Solutions, a waste solutions provider based out of Aurora, Ontario. He is also the Chairman of Quadshift, an organization based out of Toronto, Ontario that acquires and builds software companies for thousands of businesses across North America.
Storr is a former NHL goaltender, who currently owns the Oakville Blades of the Ontario Junior Hockey League, and has since 2019.
Storr had a 15-year professional hockey career from 1994-2009. Drafted 7th overall by the Los Angeles Kings. Storr played ten seasons with the Kings prior to brief stints with the Carolina Hurricanes and the Philadelphia Flyers before closing out his professional career with the DEG Metro Stars out of the Deutsche Eishockey Liga in Germany.
“I’m very excited to partner with Donato and Jamie. With Donato’s marketing experience and Jamie having 15 years of professional hockey experience, I believe we have assembled a winning ownership group both on and off ice,” states Picozzi.
Ardellini adds, “Jamie and myself would like to thank Mike for choosing us to be part of this historical organization. We are both excited to give back to the best fans in the USHL and put a winning team on the ice. Mike and myself have identified that we have the best front office staff and we are looking forward to working with them to create the best fan experience for the foreseeable future.”
