The Omaha Lancers 2022-23 Season Includes Four Eastern Conference Opponents.

OMAHA, NE. - The Omaha Lancers of the United States Hockey League have launched their 2022-23 regular season schedule.

After finishing in fourth place in the western conference standings and sweeping the Fargo Force in the opening round of the 2022 Clark Cup Playoffs, the Lancers look to better their play and attempt a massive playoff push in 2023.

Despite the past two seasons containing no eastern conference opponents outside of the annual Fall Classic, the Lancers scheduled three mid-season matchups with eastern teams in back-to-back weekends.

The Lancers will host the Chicago Steel on February 10th, 2023 then hit the road for two games at Bob Suter Capitol Ice Arena to take on the Madison Capitols for two games on February 17th and 18th. This will be the first time the Lancers have faced off against these two squads since the 2019-20 season.

At the annual Dick's Sporting Good Fall Classic in Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania, the Lancers will see Team USA U18, another opponent they have not seen since the 2019-20 season, and the Dubuque Fighting Saints. The Lancers met with Dubuque in Pennsylvania last season during the Fall Classic where they fell in a hard-fought 3-2 loss.

With season preparation well underway, the Lancers have already concluded their 2022 Main Camp and have selected their 40-man roster who will participate in another camp later next month where the 2022 preseason team will be selected.
