RALSTON, NE – Last week, Jakob Forsbacka-Karlsson and Jake Henderson combined for two goals and two assists at the USHL/NHL Top Prospects Game as scouts from every National Hockey League team looked on in Dubuque, Iowa.  In the week following the game, NHL Central Scouting released their “Midterm Rankings” of players that are eligible for the 2015 NHL Draft, and among the North American list are 44 players competing in the USHL this season including Forsbacka-Karlsson and Henderson.

The two have been vital keys in the turnaround for the Lancers.  Back on October 24th, Omaha was 1-6-2 and sat in last place in the Western Conference.  Since then, the Lancers went 18-3-3 and now see themselves in second place in the Western Conference.  Just two points behind first place Sioux City.

Combined, the two have a total of 50pts for the Lancers this season.  On the year, Forsbacka-Karlsson leads the Lancers with 10 goals and 26 assists while Henderson comes in with five goals and nine assists.

The Midterm Rankings include players from all leagues and levels across North America and are a numerical ranking based on the evaluations by NHL Central Scouting.
