Ralston, NE – The Omaha Lancers, members of the United States Hockey League are proud to announce they have promoted Bryan Marshall to team President.
“Bryan’s superb business judgement, values, and passion for both the Omaha Lancers and surrounding community made it clear that he is the one to lead our organization to the next level,” said Koots DiCesare, managing partner of the Omaha Lancers and Crossbar Down, LLC. “He is in it to win it and his hockey background is a real difference maker when it comes to coordinating both business and hockey operations.”
A former University of Nebraska-Omaha standout, Marshall served as the Mavericks’ team captain during the 2007-08 season. During his four-year collegiate career, Marshall racked up 150 points in 147 games played. To this day, he is still second in all-time points for the Mavericks.
“I’m honored and humbled to take on the duties of the President of this great organization,” said Marshall. “This is a very exciting time to be a Lancer, and we’re all looking forward to growth and continued success.”
Before college, the Michigan native had a three-year stint in the junior ranks with the Danville Wings in the NAHL and USHL from 2001 to 2004. Marshall remains the franchise leader in all-time points, goals, and games played for the Wings.
Following his collegiate career, Marshall embarked on a five-year professional playing career that featured stops in the AHL, ECHL, German, Norwegian and Danish leagues.
