LaLonde Commits to Lakers

Forward to Join Lake Superior State for 2017-18 Season

Ralston, NE – Noah LaLonde has committed to Lake Superior State, the forward announced on Tuesday morning.

“I feel that I’m ready to take the next step in my hockey career. I’m looking forward to playing college hockey at Lake Superior State,” said LaLonde.

LaLonde, 19, spent the last two seasons in the USHL appearing in 93 games, recording 34 points. The Macomb, MI native joined the Lancers in February from the Youngstown Phantoms. In 17 games with the Lancers, LaLonde notched 10 points points (3g, 7a), including back-to-back multi-point games to start his tenure with the Lancers.

“I appreciate all the staff and fans in Omaha and what they did for me during my time there,” said LaLonde. “Playing in the USHL helped me improve every aspect of my game, taught me what it’s like to go through ups and downs, and most important how to battle through adversity.”

LaLonde will join the Lakers for the 2017-18 season.

Lancers Main Tryout Camp will begin Friday morning at 9:00 am CST at Ralston Arena.
