Ralston, NE -- The Omaha Lancers faced the Fargo force for game two of the doubleheader on Sunday.
The Force got on the board quick in the first period with a goal from Mark Senden to beat Christian Sbaraglia. The Force continued on the attack when Jacob Schmid-Svejstrup jammed the puck past a sprawled out Sbraglia with 6:55 left in the first. This lead to the Lancers pulling Sbraglia and replacing him with Zach Driscoll. The Lancers got on the board late when Mick Kohler drove the puck past Strauss Mann to give the Lancers some momentum heading into the first intermission.
Midway through the second period, Evan Dougherty snapped the puck Driscoll to give Fargo a 3-1 lead.
In the third period, AJ Drobot snuck one past Driscoll to give Fargo go-ahead goal. The Force topped the Lancers with a final score of 4-1.
The Lancers return to the Friday, October 27th to face the Des Moines Buccaneers. That game starts at 7:05 pm and can be heard on News Talk 1290, and Hockey TV. Tickets are still available and can be picked up at the Ralston Arena box office.
