Lancers add Forward with Chicago Mission Ties

Ralston, NE — The Omaha Lancers made a trade with the Sioux City Musketeers on Saturday. 

Omaha traded forward Aaron Grounds (1999), a 2018 2nd Round Phase 2 and a 2018 6th Round Phase 2 Draft Pick. Grounds, an Ohio State University commit, played in 8 games for the Lancers and totaled 1 point this season.

In return, the Lancers received Forward, Mathieu De St. Phalle (2000). De St. Phalle, a Kildeer, IL native, played 20 games for Sioux City and totaled 6 points. De St. Phalle also played for the Chicago Mission U16 with the Lancers Jack Randl, Ben Perkins, Tyler Carpenter and Brian Silver. De St. Phalle is committed to play college hockey at the University of Wisconsin. 

What's next

Lancers: The team will be on Holiday break until they return to face the Waterloo Black Hawks at Ralston Arena on December 28th (7:05 p.m. CT; News Talk 1290AM, Hockey TV)
