Lancers and Storm gear up for season series finale

Overview

The final showdown between I-80 rivals tonight, as the Lancers take on the Storm. Omaha is looking to still gain ground in the conference, coming into tonight with a spot at 3rd place in the West. The Lancers now with a record of 34-16-2-3 and 73 points. Tri-City is looking on the edge of taking the 6th place spot in the west, just two points behind Lincoln (64). The Storm enters tonight’s game with a record of 29-22-4-3 and 62 points.

 

Season Series

Tonight's game 9 of the season series. Omaha holds the winning record of the in-state battle 5-2-0-1, and Tri-City is 3-4-1-0.

 

Big Names

USHL top goaltender, Filip Larsson will be sidelined for tonight's game. Larsson has been out of play since February, 24th against the Des Moines Buccaneers.

Michael Maloney will play his final regular-season game in Tri-City. Maloney started this season with the Purple and Gray with 18GP with 5 points (4-1). Maloney is committed to play college hockey next year at Brown University.
