A look at the Clark Cup Scenarios

Ralston, NE - The Omaha Lancers have clinched a spot in the 2018 Clark Cup Playoffs. Omaha currently sits at 2nd place in the West and will be continuing to the postseason for the first time in 3 years.

The top six teams in each conference get a spot in the playoffs with the top two seeds in each getting a first-round bye. The third through sixth place teams will then match up for a best of three first-round series.

The final three rounds are then a best of five series. Potential dates for each round are below:


First Round

(Best of Three Series: Top two seeds get a bye, third seed hosts the sixth seed and the fourth seed hosts the fifth seed.)

April 16-19


Second Round: Western Conference Semifinals

(Best of Five Series: Top seed hosts winner of fourth versus fifth seed and second seed hosts winner of third versus sixth seed. Hosts get games 1, 2 and if necessary game 5 of the series at their home rink.)

April 20-28


Third Round: Western Conference Finals

(Best of Five Series)

April 27-May 8


Fourth Round: Clark Cup Final

(Best of Five Series)

May 11-23


An on-sale date and prices for single-game playoff tickets will be announced once the seeds are set. Season ticket holders can renew their seats for the duration of playoffs and lock in their season ticket rate in “Pay As We Play” format.
