Lancers report for duty to begin 2018-19 Pre-Season

RALSTON, NE - The 2018-19 Lancers have officially reported to Omaha and will begin on-ice practices at Ralston Arena starting this week. The team’s training and pre-season games will start Wednesday, September, 5th through Wednesday, September 26th, leading up to the 2018 Fall Classic.

“We are very excited about this year's edition of the Lancers," Head Coach David Wilkie said.

The Lancers will host the first annual “I-80 Cup” along with four pre-season games at Ralston Arena. The full 2018-19 schedule including I-80 Cup, pre-season, Fall Classic and regular season games can be found here.

The thirty-three man roster below includes thirteen members of the 2017-18 team, two tendered players (Chase Bradley, Cam Berg), eighteen Division I college committed players, four goaltenders, nine defensemen, and nineteen forwards. The players will be battling to make the Lancers opening day roster.

The Lancers will participate in the USHL’s 2018 Fall Classic in Cranberry, PA for two regular season-opening games against the Waterloo Black Hawks Saturday, September 29th at 5:00 pm and Team USA NTDP 18U on Sunday, September 30th at 4:00 pm. All pre-season and Fall Classic games can be seen and heard on HockeyTV.

The Lancers home opener is Saturday, October 6th vs the Tri-City Storm at Ralston Arena. Puck drop will be at 7:05 pm.
