Ginnetti to Cedar Rapids, Dovorany stays in Omaha

RALSTON, NE - The Omaha Lancers announced a trade with the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders and a full-time addition to the 2018-19 roster on Tuesday morning.

The Lancers traded defenseman Cam Ginnetti (98) to the RoughRiders. In return, the RoughRiders send a 2019 Phase 2 8th Round Draft Pick to the Lancers. Ginnetti played in 59 games with the Lancers and recorded 9 points. Ginnetti was an alternate captain for the 2018-19 season and is committed to play at Clarkson University. 

Frank Dovorany (01) who played in Sunday nights game against Sioux Falls will stay on the Lancers active roster for the remainder of the 2018-19 season. The Defenseman was drafted 13th #211 overall by the Lancers in the 2018 Phase II Draft. The Wausau, WI native played together with Lancers defenseman John Prokop for both Team Wisconsin and Wausau High School. Dovorany is committed to play NCAA hockey at Michigan Tech.

The Lancers return to the ice on Friday, November 23rd to face off against the Tri-City Storm in Kearney. Puck drop is scheduled for 7:05 pm and all of the action can be heard on KOIL 1290 AM and on HockeyTV.
