RALSTON, NE - The Omaha Lancers made a trade with the Muskegon Lumberjacks Thursday morning, trading forward Ryan Savage for defenseman Daniel Hilsendager. With Hilsendager, the Lancers also gained 2019 Phase I 5th round, and a 2019 Phase II 5th round draft pick from Muskegon.
Hilsendager, an 18-year-old defenseman from Lloydminster, Saskatchewan, has played in 27 games with the second-ranked Lumberjacks this season. Hilsendager has 1 point on the year in his USHL rookie season. Prior the USHL, Hilsendager spent time with the Lloydminster Bobcats (AJHL), Lloydminster Rage Minor Midget, Notre Dame Hounds, and the Lloydminster Blazers. Hilsendager is committed to play division one hockey at Western Michigan University.
